My first blog you´ve all been waiting for

I know I gave out my blog before I posted a blog just to confuse everyone! I am in Mexico City, and am just getting used to the idea. The first couple days were a bit overwhelming and I stayed close to the hostal. I have been emailing, but no blogging: this is my first blog, it is a little strange, what do I say? Do I try to be funny? Entertaining? Should I blog jokes? I don´t know any jokes. Well, this is what has happened so far. I was sad to leave everybody, and still am as I cannot imagine that I will be away from home for so long! It was a whirlwind departure and I am sorry Joseph that I left so much to clean up. I do not recommend moving out of your house the last few days before leaving the country. Well, I am not so opposed to being here anymore as I have traversed this city sola, well only the area right around the University. But I went forth alone today and it wasn´t so dificult. I don´t know how I would do it however without my gracious hosts who have taken me around a bit, and who are letting me stay in their small apartment until I can rent a room, which is what I did today. I called people on my Mexico cell phone to see possible rooms to rent, and there is one that will do just fine, a ten or fifteen minute walk to the Cepe (school for foreign students) which I will be attending, come Thursday enrollment and testing to see which level I will be in. Tomarrow I will see the Zocalo. This is all for now.
